sPHENIX discussion of the superconducting solenoid

Hi,

From the email below, thanks to Ray, Sonny, Joe et. al., the electrical/mechanical connections at the Magnet/Extension
end have been completed.   I believe that Rich Meier and Frank have connected the Cryo and strain gauge connectors respectively
and we're just checking with them for the Nth time.  ( Frank has just confirmed .... )

After the confirmation from Rich,  Ray's going to install the heat shield and complete the insulation.  Nobody will be able to get
access to the connections between the Magnet and Extension.

This is the last call ... in case we miss anything or anybody.

      We have finished plumbing and electrical connection on the solenoid connection box.  Please make sure that all of the connection that you are responsible for are tied up and completed.  Please let me know when you are satisfied that all is done so that we can complete the insulation and install the heat shield.
