Hi,

 

As you can see from this picture :

 

 

the first 16 "535 MCM" cables between the top platform and dump resistor have been pulled.  These are the longest among all the 40 MCM cables.  We have got help from ~5 techs of the C-AD cable-pulling crew (that PK Feng has been able to invite to come successfully), in addition to Carter Biggs, Frank Toldo and Aaron from PHENIX.  The 5 techs spent about an hour yesterday afternoon and another hour this very early morning (~7 am).  Additionally, Carter/Frank/Aaron have also needed

to install wooden space blocks before and afterwards.

 

I heard that Carter's Dunkin' Donuts have helped a lot :-)

 

Richard Meier and his Cryo colleagues are connecting

the signal cables between Valvebox and their Cryo Rack using the cable trays built by M. Rau and M. Williams ....
