Hello,
Below is the minutes from Jim for the Biweekly Meeting. I’ve also put it in the calendar:

as usual.

Hi Kin,
Yes I was thinking of you this evening and assumed that you would like to send out some minutes. :-) Feel free to edit the items below:
We only met for 45 minutes or so. Those present were Ed, Roberto, Ray, Achim, Paul G. and me. We discussed the vacuum repair that Ray and his team did. We then talked about the next steps; Roberto and the Cryo group will continue pumping down through the weekend and on Monday start the turbos. The plan would be to start compressor(s) on Friday. We talked about the potential limitations of working inside the steel once we introduce helium gas into the magnet. Will it be considered ODH 0, confined space? This should be run past Peter Cirnigliaro (Dave, Roberto) to make sure we have the appropriate posting and controls in place.
We should also plan on trying to complete all internal work early next week; this includes finishing the installation of the linear pots and Hall probes. We should run the jacks in and finish any surveying needed. (Though not part of the meeting, Jon Hock and I talked about this today.)
At the magnet meeting we also talked about the possibility of needing to access the inside of the bore next week (i.e. potential troubleshooting of the vacuum) after all of the formal work is completed. We concluded that we should get collective concurrence (from Jon, Roberto, and Ray) before we start the final install of steel and button things up.
We will also need to perform a final sweep of the area before the steel goes in (I think that Dave, Jon, and I said that we would do this).
I may have missed a few things but hopefully remembered all of the salient items from the meeting. Hope your having a good trip. Jim
