Thank you for the assurance.   Our plan has not really changed and the budget codes that respective SMD staff have used

(when they work on the sPHENIX Magnet tasks) are all valid.

 

I also chatted casually with Piyush an hour ago and he also assured me that they’d help whenever it’s necessary as in the past 😊

Hi Kin,

SMD will be very happy to continue to support the sPHENIX effort.  Currently my team has penciled in 0.7 FTEs in our plan for FY21.  I will be very happy to discuss what the needs are for FY21 and beyond and that the sPHENIX project will be providing funding for the FTEs needed for this effort.

Superconducting Magnet Div. (along with ATF etc.) have left the NPP directorate since Oct. 1, 2020.     

 

But I hope SMD will still keep your commitment and willingness in helping us install the Magnet (etc.) in 1008 for the sPHENIX experiment.

 

Can you please kindly re-confirm  (that nothing has changed in this aspect) ??
