To summarize out meeting at 1008B from 10/3. (cable infrastructure needs and cryo)

Work that is needed:

• New Vacuum control cabinet needs to be mounted on Unistrut, and powered

• Electricians to do this work

• Existing PLC cabinet will need a 12” cable tray to run to the second floor penetration, such that all signal cables have a path to the outdoor cable tray. (same penetration as water-cooled bus)
• New Valve box needs 6” table tray extended from middle of large cryo tanks. (approximately 10’ of new 6” tray)

• New vacuum pump will use this tray as well for runs to PLC cabinet

• New Vacuum pump will need power and signal paths

• Most likely EMT run along containment pit wall to prevent trip hazard.
• Vacuum pump should not need mounting to flour, but if requested can be provided

• Outdoor Tray will be changed from a 12” to 18” with Signal and Power divide.

We will work get this done as soon as we can, but most of the work in B can also occur after start up of RHIC, with the exception of the rework of the 12” outdoor tray. That work will have to finish before we close the outdoor dogleg shield wall.

If anything else comes up or if you need things sooner, let me know.

We can also plan on pulling cable on maintenance days.
