sPHENIX discussion of the superconducting solenoid

Dear Carl and Piyush,

I attach two photos that I just took in the 1008 Assembly Hall.  It includes a picture of the Boom Lift that Russell Feder that we're going to take use.  So, we don't need to find it.  It's already there !

And from Frank Toldo, I understand that we may borrow the "harness" that they have.  Only two persons can go up there with the lift and Frank has a couple of these harnesses.  So, we don't need to borrow from somewhere else.

Hopefully, Piyush's tech can drive the lift ?!   ( Mike Gaffney has agreed to give "you" training ... if you're going just to be a passenger. )

The other picture shows the environment that we'll be working around.  Frank told me that there is a plug on the lift that you can plug your instrument.  And at the bottom of the Boom lift, you can connect it with wall electrical sockets nearby (that Frank said they exist).  This solves our electrical supply problem ( I think ).  I think you guys can find the appropriate "grounding" around there.
