Hi Frank,

I just put the 2 Al covers (as Ray Ceruti calls them) that I got from Ray in the same/usual sPHENIX valve box cabinet in the 1008 trailer. ( You had the 8 screws from Ray and you had ordered more. )

Hi Kin and Frank,

I don’t have the screws that were removed to take the covers off, they should be with the covers in a bag. I tried very hard to keep hardware together. The screws are M5 x 45 SHCS 18-8 stainless. I do have eight screws leftover from my days of working with these covers. I also have two extra aluminum covers with o-rings if you need them as well. Stop on by 902 and see me if that can help.

Hi Ray,

When you took off those special covers (with linear pot.) for the BaBar/sPHENIX Magnet and replaced them with restraints, we only

found a box of those 4 covers (and linear pot). We didn’t see any screws in the same box. Are those screws still inside with the restraints somehow ? Or we just need to buy new screws ??

Im trying to install the strain gages before the Large Support Rings go on. I think it is possible to get the strain gages on after the large support . But I want to be sure I have the parts. But I cannot find the hard ware that was used and I still do not know where position #4 is. Do we know who took these off . Do we know where the hard ware is?
