Dear Ray,

 

As I chatted with you 15 minutes ago, the Valvebox should hopefully arrive at 1008 at 1:30 pm (after they start transporting it after lunch ~ 1 pm).

 

Just to make sure (as saying once is never enough),  the sequence of works is that:

 

1. Ray will take off all the restraints, underneath as well as inside the Valvebox ;
2. Carl Schultheiss will do a hipot  ;
3. Ray will install the heat shield/multi-layer-insulation and then close the door (with the help of Frank’s guy as the door is heavy) on the side which inaccessible on the platform (as it opens to the air);
4. Ray will do another hipot (as he insists) afterwards.

PS:

 

Rigger Peter needed to take off a valve-like object to make sure that the valvebox can leave 912 without hitting anything.  I took a photo and that object

was on the 2^nd vertical column from the right.  I gave it to Chintan Sheth ~45 minutes ago.

Subject: A small piece taken off

 

Hi,

 

They have taken a small piece of your pipe/valve of the Valvebox.  It's from the 2nd vertical pipe in the photo and that piece is held in Frank's hand in the photo.

 

I am holding on to it myself at this moment.
