At 9:48 pm (Control System clock), the magnet sufferred from the same "copper bus 2 water flow" interlock problem that happened on Monday (Aug. 26).  But this time, on the Maintenance Day, there were quite a few people inside including Frank Toldo.  They were scared and quickly came out and they only went back in after I told them to them that the noise came from the flushing out of helium from the Magnet system to outside the West Wall to the berm between 1008A and 1008B.

The C-AD Mechanical Group told me that the switch broke again in the same manner as on Monday.  Luckily, in the last two days, they have been thinking about changing to a new type.

They did some research and asked the water group and found a new type of flow switch.  At the end, they replaced both the flow switches on copper buses 1 and 2.   They had some problem in the wiring as they didn't clear out the interlock when I met with them at 1:15 pm in 1008B mezzanine.  Tim Costanzo and Ron Walker came to help and they figured out what was wrong with the wiring.
