Dear all,

We are getting close to the planned MVTX telescope test beam run at Fermilab in May 20-29.

I propose we have a short meeting next Thursday 4/18 ~1:00PM/LANL(3PM/BNL) to discuss the current status of telescope preparation work:

We can use the same BlueJeans that Zhaozhong, Ivan and Xu et al are using for the online monitoring discussions.

Possible topics:

  1. Telescope hardware and readout readiniess, Sho, Cameron, Gerd, Hubert, Matt  et al
  2. Slow control and monitoring via USB – Cameron, Sho et al
  3. Online event data monitoring software – Xu, Sanghoon, Sho
  4. Offline analysis  - Yasser, Sanghoon, Molly et al
  5. Other topics – TBD

NOTE: Fermilab test beam schedule uncertainty - --- I learnt two days ago from John Haggerty that due to possible budget shortage, Fermilab may change the TB run schedules for May-June, with possible early shutdown of the facility. Fermilab will make a decision early next week about TB plan. I hope by Thursday we will know the schedule.

In the case of lost planned beam time, we should do our best to run parasitically with others if possible to take data this year, stay tuned.

Zhaozhong – could you setup the indico page so people can post their slides?

Cheers,

Ming
