Dear Ming, all,

 

I hope you are all doing well.

 

I have some news concerning the restart of the stave production.

 

The DSF clean room has slowly been put back into operation, with a limited access and strict safety procedures.

This seems not to have a big impact on our activities as we were already fully equipped with coats, gloves, and masks and the max allowed people per project (two units) fits well our plans.

 

In the past two weeks two HICs (assembled before the lockdown) have been bonded and 8 staves have been glued, now they are being tested.

 

From next week Marcin will be back to CERN and we plan to resume also HIC assembly.

 

Last news concerns the export licence and end user certificate for the ALPIDE chip for sPHENIX, which have been delivered the past week.

 

I propose to have next meeting on Thu 18 at 17:00, I’ll circulate later the agenda and indico link.
