Minutes shift change 2023-05-05

general

- scaffolding inspected, bore access available (if you do work:  be careful, put lock and remove it again, inform shift leader)
- no access Monday:  roll-up day (access control system testing)
- still working on IRR/ORE approval 
  - CAD chief engineer said electrical systems are safe we can wait until next shutdown
  - steps are Alex Tulio (Monday), Mike Lancy, site office (three days)

evening:  Xuan
- EMCal NW chiller turned off (overheating)
- INTT work

night:  Hanpu
- quiet, no alarms
- 1:00am INTT work done, LV, HV off

day:  Sookhyun
- INTT experts replacing T readout box, T now reading correctly
  - interlock work, still ongoing
- EMCal chiller replaced
- TPOT gas readings now normal

MBD (Mickey)
- HV scan last night
- set up remote scope in rack in preparation for timing in

HCal (Hanpu)
- cosmic runs during night
- weekend:  cosmic running unless Martin is working on hit
  - will ask help from shift crew

EMcal (Tim)
- took LED and single pixel noise data with bias, identified problems, will access to try to fix

TPOT (John K)
- need to sort out working vGTM —> Martin, John K, Hugo

TPC (Jin)
- Takao worked on automatically resetting FEEs, config ASIC, 626 FEEs working, everything but one FEE 
  - known felix problem
- John K and Jin diagnosed readout bottlenecks, addressing those with firmware updates
- expect 24 h operation, if gap that means pedestal data taking; if telemetry missing, shift crew don’t you worry
- observed three network outages in the last ~ 24 h
  - not clear why

INTT (Itaru)
- replaced T readout board in North side, now T working properly
- no bore access needed
- taking data since this morning with full bias:  calibration pedestal
- Raul and Martin will work on felix readout tonight

MVTX  (Zhaozhong)
- technicians ran replacement signal cable today


DAQ 
- see separate meeting
