- rack 4.2 (calorimeter DCM2’s) in the rack room also needs to be shut down;
tentative plan is to do this also at 9:00am tomorrow
- nitrogen tank is filled
- RHIC cool-down has started
evening: Xuan
- did door lock check
- water leak faulty sensor, to be replaced soon
night: Hanpu
- quiet except for usual alarms
day: Sookhyun
- no access most of day until 1:50pm (access control system testing)
- restricted access since
- plug door now open
- had new alarm regarding high humidity but was not visible on alarm panel;
should be visible now
- audible chiller alarm (looking at vision and big screen at the same time)
- water reservoir level dropped from 75 % to 0
- Lee: not real problem
- HCal: detector operator cosmics
MBD (Abdul)
- ignition gui, will pass on to shift crew soon
- few bad channels, working on it
HCal (Hanpu)
- took cosmic data last night
- continued during day
- but only for East
- West has two problems:
- frequently gets stuck at certain event number
- clockmaster-TP fanout syncing gets messed up
—> need to debug both problems by swapping hardware
the following part of the minutes kindly provided by Xuan:
EMCal: Waiting for access to check the SiPM bias.
TPOT: Have a new GTM working, taking noise data, and working on the Felix
data.
TPC: Jin is taking the pedestal data over the weekend. Perform the stress
tests. Found some noises from the pedestal data taking last Friday. John K.
is debugging the data and will apply some fixes today.
INTT: Move the HV interlock system, found one bias channel filter issue in
the south side. Will perform the system check during the access tomorrow.
Will order spare ones for further report/maintenance.
MVTX: plan to replace a module of the CAEN power system in the 2E3 rack. Will
try to access the IR to check the system status.
DAQ: Put more severs up. The switch in the rack need programming and Martin
is working on this.
ZDC: ZDC cable connection are under preparation.
