Commissioning and running of sPHENIX

Dear sPHENIX experts,

We’ve lost the sweep a few times during Controlled Access.  To address this, we’ll have a briefing on the IR access procedures for all 1008 experts immediately after the shift change meeting today.  Please make every effort to attend.

Please, if you are not entirely familiar with the IR access procedures, or have not routinely accessed the IR during Controlled Access, make sure you are familiar with the procedure before entering on CA.  Talk to an experienced person before to make sure you understand the procedure.  Communicate with Access Controls/MCR from the gate before entering AND exiting the IR, and ask them if you have any doubt about what to do when.
