Hello sPHENIXians,

As Run-2024 rapidly  approaches, success will rely on a full team effort at Brookhaven.

To that end, I would like to solicit  input/nominations (sent via private email to me), for the position of Spin Coordinator 2024.   That person will be expected to have a strong presence at Brookhaven and in 1008, and work in concert with the Run Coordinator et al., but with a particular focus on the needs to have a successful spin physics program.

Second, the team of Period Coordinators, in concert with Stefan, were critical for the successes during the last commissioning run.    Again input/nominations  (sent via private email to me)  are most welcome.    Self-nominations are also good.  A key  is really committing to 14 straight days of working  in 1008, not  just running the shift change meetings, but overlapping with the  shift crews and ensuring continuity and quality  of running the experiment.

Inputs submitted by October 30, 2024 will receive priority consideration.

Sincerely,

Jamie
