Food Service Announcements: No Cafeteria Lunch on 5/24, Vending Machine Info, 
and More

Here are updates from Conference & Food Services about the food service 
programs available at the Lab for employees, guests, users, and visitors.

Cafeteria in Berkner
As the food service contract process moves forward, Artisan has agreed to 
continue services in the cafeteria in Berkner (Bldg. 488). The menu is 
available online (https://foodtruck.pub/order/menu.aspx?busid=11385) and 
pre-order is also available to keep your wait times to a minimum. The Food 
Services team is working with Artisan to roll out pop-up menu specials to add 
variety during the week. Stay tuned for menu pop-ups! 

No Lunch Service in Berkner on Friday 5/24
The Artisan will not serve lunch in the cafeteria in Berkner on Friday, May 
24. For other meal options, visit one of the 24-hour micro-marts located in 
Buildings 400, 740, or 911 for a variety of ready-to-go sandwiches, salads, 
beverages, snacks, and more. Food service schedule changes are reflected in 
real time on the Food Vendor calendar 
(https://www.bnl.gov/staffservices/foodservices.php). 

Catering
Catering menus are available upon request through the Food Services 
Department. For any questions and coordination in placing catering orders, 
please contact the Food Services Department at Ext. 5063. 

Micro-Marts
Since 2020, Food Services has provided 24/7 food options on campus. The 
micro-marts are serviced five days a week and are located in the lobbies of 
buildings 400, 740, and 911. The options include healthy snacks, drinks, 
fresh food, and frozen meals. The lobbies in buildings 400 and 740 are open 
24 hours a day, seven days a week. Please note, the lobby of Bldg. 911 is 
open to the public during regular business hours but food is always available 
to those with building access. 

Vending Services
The New York State Commission for the Blind (NYSCB) provides vendors for our 
vending machines on campus. The current vendor has officially terminated 
services and NYSCB is searching for a new vendor to replace it. We thank you 
for your patience while our team works with NYSCB to reinstate services.
