Hello All,
Sending this along for Hugo -- this is good news from Kiel and C-AD. Hopefully over the next few days we see this increase in luminosity and have our photon/jet triggers sampling it!
Sincerely,
Jamie

Hi all,
I am delighted to inform you the cause of the emittance growth was found and is currently being mitigated. The 56 MHz cavity was driving the growth and changes were made to it to mitigate that. In the next few days we will work to undo the optimizations
we had made to the machine to with in the previous configuration and get to a truly optimum machine. For this we will do what we can store to store and will likely request machine development to iron out any lingering issues. We will likely be switching back
to 111 bunches in short order. That and the change in emittance, we are looking at a factor of 4-5x increase over our previous luminosities.
I will hold the 0900 meeting on Monday for us to discuss.
Best,
Kiel
