Adjusted Summer Shuttle Services Begin 6/3

With the influx of new arrivals coming to the Lab for the summer, the shuttle schedule has been modified to better support our passengers.
Schedule Changes
Starting today, June 3, the shuttle service will provide two scheduled routes, one in the morning between 7:30 and 9:30 a.m. and another in the evening between 3:30 and 5:30 p.m. Shuttles
will stop at the buildings listed below and will have a special route for the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider (RHIC). Outside these route hours, service is on a first come/call, first served basis. For service to buildings far from the route or at the main
gate, call Ext. 2714 for a pick up any time during hours of operation.
The route stops are:
Stop 1 – Lollipop House on Yule Road
Stop 2 – Opening in between Apt. 28-30 and Apt. 34-36
Stop 3 – Parking Lot of Apt. 40 Line
Stop 4 – Cavendish Parking Lot
Stop 5 – Curie/Guest House Bike Rack
Stop 6 – Compton Circle
Stop 7 – Bldg. 400, Bus Shelter
Stop 8 – Bldg. 488, Berkner Hall
Stop 9 – Bldg. 555, Chemistry
Stop 10 – Bldg. 510, Physics
Stop 11 – Bldg. 734, Interdisciplinary Science Building
Stop 12 – Bldg. 735, Center for Functional Nanomaterials
Stop 13 – Bldg. 740, National Synchrotron Light Source II
Stop 14 – Bldg. 535, Instrumentation Division
Stop 15 – Bldg. 911, Collider-Accelerator Department
Note: All RHIC employees/interns who wish to use the shuttle will be picked up in the morning at Berkner at 8:10 a.m. The RHIC evening route starts with a 5:10 p.m. pick up at Bldg.
1005. If a rider misses the shuttle, they’ll need to wait until after the route is completed before the shuttle can return to the RHIC complex.
The on-site shuttle service summer hours of operation are 7:30 a.m. to 9:45 p.m.
Book Your Train Shuttle
A shuttle van operates Monday through Friday, except for holidays and Laboratory site closures, to transport Laboratory staff, guests, and visitors to and from the Long Island Railroad
Ronkonkoma train station. To make a Train Shuttle reservation, check out the
Shuttle Services Website to guarantee a spot.
Shopping Shuttle
The Shopping Shuttle is a courtesy shuttle that makes multiple trips between the Laboratory and the
Southport Shopping Center (PDF), Walmart, and Lidl.
