Good morning :sunflower:
Now that you are in a happy mood because of the sunflower emoji, I would like to announce a TPC tracking/performance mini-review on Thursday or Friday this week. The focus would be on the offline/tracking validation of the current TPC performance with an eye on whether we need to change any running conditions or need any special runs during what will then be just two more weeks of pp running. This mini-review is coordinated in conjunction with Joe Osborn.
Meeting: Friday, September 13, 2024 at 9:30 am ET

Sincerely,
Jamie

Key requests: All plots need clear labels, run number, date, early/late store, early/late in run. The running has been stable over the last week, and so QA from at least some of the special picked runs by JaeBeom with complete transfer would be excellent.
(0) Data dropping checks on MVTX, INTT, TPC, TPOT from a sample of runs.
(1) dE/dx plots, Nhits on tracks showing stability and good coverage in MIP region. Any chance to see this early and late in store and in a run...
(2) Anything that indicates the efficiency of the TPC? Do we have any matching to silicon tracks, TPOT, or even just INTT?
(3) Related to the above, I thought people pointed to Bill LLope's slides indicating tracks match to INTT and requiring BCO to match the GL1 trigger -- so that the tracks would be from one pp collision. Is that right? Can someone explain this fact.... We know what the dNch/deta for pT > X GeV is, so does that make sense?
(4) Jin mentioned some concern about performance close to the central membrane versus tracks close to the pad readout. What can we say about that?
(5) What other key items am I missing?
