Hello sPHENIXians,
This week marks the start of cryo-week #25 (out of 19 + 6 + 2 = 27). The final proton-proton beam was dumped at 08:09:30 on the morning of Monday, September 30, 2024. Thanks to everyone who has made the proton-proton physics running in sPHENIX a success! The final tallies for integrated luminosities are included below and represent an excellent physics data set. Also, added to the wiki page are figures of the luminosities for people to present publicly.

An excellent "end of proton-proton" party was held -- John Haggerty posted some fun pictures below!

C-AD has started readying for the 3 weeks of AuAu, i.e. ending at 8 am on Monday, October 21, 2024. Unfortunately a long voltage cable to one of the abort-kickers has died and a new cable has to be re-run (over 500 feet). Thus, there might be a two day delay in first collisions - we will have to be patient and see. When they have a first store for experiments, all detectors will be back to expert control and we will need MBD, ZDC, DAQ experts available for timing in the ADC systems etc. The start of checks with the silicon detectors and TPC will be done with 6x6 bunch stores, and in complete coordination with experts. These checks might start on Monday, October 7, 2024; however, we will need to be flexible depending on machine development.

Below are the links to the weekly RHIC Coordination meeting presentations from sPHENIX (including the usual run update and a potential shutdown schedule) and C-AD.
