Commissioning and running of sPHENIX

C-AD Access Group will do ODH calibration in 1008 IR and Assembly Hall between 7 – 9 am tomorrow (Jan. 7).  Nobody should be in 1008 IR and Assembly Hall during this time.

( In reality, not many people will be around between 7 am – 9 am anyway 😊 )   If they can’t finish, they’ll do the same on Jan. 8.

All,

 

We are initially scheduled  for this Calibration 1008IR ODH Sensors tomorrow morning 1/7/2025 from 7:00AM to 9:00AM.

 

This calibration would sound/flash alarms in the 1008IR and Assembly Hall, and are requesting where only Access Controls Personnel would be in the 1008IR and Assembly Hall during this testing. 

 

Access Controls would call the BNL Fire Group to notify them about sounding alarms at 1008 during the testing.  Access Controls would call the BNL Fire Group to notify them,  when testing is complete.  

 

Once the test time slot(s) is approved and authorized, the following will be called and emailed, before the start of the test, each day, to let everyone know about this testing:

             Notify sPHENIX Control Room Shift Supervisor at x7815

Notify 911MCR Control Room Personnel at x4662

Notify CAS Support at x2024

Notify Kin Yip @ x 4116

Notify Frank Toldo @ x7788

Notify Marianna Albanese @ x3839

Note: The Certification Testing in 1008IR would take place at  later time and would have the same requirements.
