Commissioning and running of sPHENIX

Dear Mariette, Peter and Rosi: 

This is the run support housing request for the Columbia group. 

We greatly benefited from the 3 BR apartment and subsidy last year! I understand that this year there will be some effort to share in order to economize, completely understood. Below my signature block please find the formal shift commitments of my group to date. I use the word “formal” because there were also  instances where one of my group members used a room in the apartment for a few days while on call as a Sub-system expert.

Apr 15th - Apr 22nd    8:00 - 16:00    Detector Operator
Apr 22nd - Apr 29th    8:00 - 16:00    Detector Operator
May 27th - Jun 3rd     8:00 - 16:00    DAQ Operator
Jul 22nd - Jul 29th      8:00 - 16:00    DAQ Operator

Shuhang Li  :  Apr. 15-29 (overlaps with Jiang), and Sep 16-30.

Blair Seidlitz: 

Emma McLaughlin has also signed up for many shifts, but will not be using the apartment unless she can’t get a dorm room. She was a game camper last year, but it’s asking a lot of woman to share a single bathroom with 3 men, and I completely approve of her request this year to use dorm space instead. In any event, here is her schedule:

March 3rd-12th, April 14th-22nd and September 22nd-30th.

Finally, as you know, a second round of shift sign-ups will be available on or about March 24th, so there will be additional requests going into the fall.
