sPHENIX Event Plane Detector discussion

Hi All,

With Rosi, Tristan, and I all on shift this week, we propose to have the regular meeting at a “special” time of 430pm on Monday (July 24).

Some key topics/issues to discuss are:

- The power cables need to be re-terminated.  Sal re-terminated one of them this past Wednesday during the access so we could test the prototype box.  The other three still need the right connectors.

- We need to order new alignment pins.  The ones we have are too long, and the ones from STAR are too short.

- Labeling to indicate the orientation of the fibers/fiber connectors when they get plugged into the electronics boxes

- Spacer thickness for the fiber connectors—thinner than our current ones might be better

- XMIT board status

- Planning for what can be done prior to the install in two weeks (during the next access day).  For example, can we put in some or all of the alignment pins?
