sPHENIX discussion of software

Hello Everyone

 

Due to lack of updates on GitHub and on agenda, we will cancel today’s simulation meeting, and use email discussion instead.

 

First of all, we would like to have another full detector simulation production to refresh the reference Geant4 data set. The proposed detector configuration for this production is the new reference design before descoping:

·       3-MAPS inner tracker

·       TPC

·       2-D projective SPACAL in full eta coverage

·       Inner HCal with flat plate

·       Default outer HCal

Let’s start with single particle and hijing sets in full detector, with specialized events by requests. Suggestion welcomed.

 

Meanwhile, we would like to encourage updates in the next week for:

·       Reconstruction event display - Sook Hyun Lee

·       Geometry export and integration of Kalman Filter - Haiwang and Jin

·       Tracking and multi-vertexing updates

·       SPACAL updates - Jin

·       Photon clusterizer - Brandon McKinzie
