sPHENIX discussion of software

Hi Everyone

    This is a reminder that we will have a regular sPHENIX simulation
    and software meeting on Jan 5th, 1PM ET

    We have a contribution from Jin about the Jenkins upgrade. Joe kicks
    off a git workflow discussion, following up on our recent back and
    forth of rebase versus merge and finally Cameron gives an update
    about KFParticle use for the mdc.
    And yes - we will talk about the mdc. The MB hijing is slowly
    ramping down (we have something like 600,000 events available), the
    central G4 production has been cranking along over the break and we
    have 750k simulated events for further processing (pileup and
    tracking/calorimeter reco). We also have 1Mio pythia8 MB simulated
    events also waiting for further processing. We need to decide on
    priorities and get an idea what to show at the collaboration meeting
    (and don't forget the S&C review)
