Hi all,

Following the discussion in the software meeting yesterday, I updated the git workflow procedure on the wiki by adding a step regarding squashing and rebasing commits. Squashing and rebasing can help reduce the clutter of the repository history by combining commits into one another, which can be useful for documentation and possibly also by reducing the number of commits the new Jenkins features have to deal with.
