sPHENIX discussion of software

Hi folks,

something is wrong with the sphenix.sdcc.bnl.gov cvmfs area. One gets 
i/o errors in various places (e.g. cmake does not work rigth now, 
pythiaeRHIC gives an i/o error and Jin saw the compiler quit with an 
error reading a compiler include). I did file a ticket, they are looking 
into it.
