Hi folks,
there is something wrong with /sphenix/user. It should have 50TB free but even copying a 20GB file there give an out of space message. I filed a ticket with sdcc.
But in general this is a race we cannot win, please start using /sphenix/tg/tg01. You cannot create top dirs but under the Topical group subdirs you have write permission. It has 5PB space which should last for a while. Don't use it for source code/compiling - this is in lustre which is geared towards large files
