Hi Chris,
Perhaps my own maybe-stupid question will help someone else, too. If I understand correctly, I can run condor jobs from a tg01 directory so that the large local output file goes there, but I should be careful to route frequently updated output from condor into into the sphenix/user space (such as from the `output = ` and `error =` lines in the condor.job file).
Is this correct?
Thanks,
Dave

Hi folks,
there is something wrong with /sphenix/user. It should have 50TB free
but even copying a 20GB file there give an out of space message. I filed
a ticket with sdcc.
But in general this is a race we cannot win, please start using
/sphenix/tg/tg01. You cannot create top dirs but under the Topical group
subdirs you have write permission. It has 5PB space which should last
for a while. Don't use it for source code/compiling - this is in lustre
which is geared towards large files
Chris
