sPHENIX tracking discussion

    Dear all,
     I have attached the tentative agenda for the Tracker review, to be held at BNL
    Wed-Thurs, Sept 7-8.  We still have to make final decisions about who gives
    which talk  but as a forewarning Tony, Tom, Takao, Klaus, Mike M., Ming,
    Itaru, Yasuyuki, and Rachid should all be available the days of the review.
    The review will consist of  a morning plenary session covering the
    subjects in the talk titles followed by breakout sessions for the
    TPC, MAPS-vertex and Intermediate Tracker. The plenary talks should
    cover both the detector and the electronics. We also need to prepare
    talks for the breakout session in which we present additional details
    on the technical, schedule, cost, resource information, plus information on
    TPC, MAPs and Intermediate Tracker engineering and integration to the
    extent that it is available. It is a big job and there is a lot of work ahead
    of us over the next month but a great deal of good work has been done
    already and we need to communicate that work to the committee.
   
    
    In preparation for the review we will  hold an all day practice
    at BNL Tuesday Aug 30. The room for this, Indico page and bluejeans
    connection information will follow in a subsequent e-mail. We will
    practice the plenary talks, and discuss the material to be presented
    in the breakout sessions. Thanks.
