Hi Chris and all,

• I am working on fixing the memory leaks in the pattern recognition module, PHG4KalmanPatRec.
  
• Also I am working on reducing the memory usage in the full fitting module, PHG4TrackKalmanFitter.
  

I should be able to fix the first one tomorrow. And submit a pull request for it.

Before that is done, if you really want to run tracking, I suggest to simulate 1 hijing event/job.

The second one takes more time, 1-2 days, and I will be travelling this weekend.

So I will try to finish this one before the end of next week.

the memory consumption has become a real problem in the last couple of days. Achim gets tons of mails from jobs which got evicted because they exceeded the 20GB memory limit. Even regular jobs seem to use around 18GB from what I see. This means I will have to reduce the number of available condor slots for sPHENIX drastically to one or two per node. Currently most nodes are just swapping the sPHENIX jobs (luckily other processes are not affected) and those jobs will never finish.

That is a real problem and it has to be addressed,
