Hi Tony,

I was trying to say towards the end of the meeting today, but the audio didn't seem to work.

What I wanted to add to the action item list is the following 2 items I am working on at the moment.

- Writing modularized seeding codes from scratch,
to extract helix parameters to do the initial vertexing and then track seeding. This was discussed during the tracking workfest and is along the lines of iterative tracking that Christof mentioned in today's meeting. I will prepare slides to have discussions for the next simulation meeting.

- Modifications to Vector meson generator,
to add some protection and make it keep track of decay_id to added upsilon pairs. It was pointed out by Tony yesterday that when an internal method that should not be used at the macro level is used in the macro, it does not exit.

Best regards,
 Sookhyun

Hi All,

Here are the action items from today's meeting.

Cheers

Tony

--------------------------

General:

Limit ourselves to 2 hijing events per job, and turn off g4hit and hit in evaluator to limit Condor problems.

Haiwang:
Make a pull request today for memory leak fixes.
  Review memory use
Try to understand failures of tracker to associate with silicon layers, related to Genfit errors?

Christof:
Also look into silicon layer matching failures
  Work on evaluator memory usage

Carlos:
Submit pull request for TPC clustering fix.
Look into the offset from zero in the reconstructed cluster position
Work on the new TPC simulation code

Sourav/Tony:
Look into using absolute thresholds for TPC cells (i.e. mimic a noise suppressing threshold).

Tony:
Create a sensor index that can be stored in the cluster object to gain access to geometry for any detector.

Hi All,

Let's meet tomorrow, Friday June 30, at 9:00 am to discuss tracking software issues.

There has been a lot of progress this week, and it would be good to focus a little more on the bigger picture and where we go next.
