Hi Everybody,

I ran a set of hijing simulations (min bias and pileup corresponding to 50kHz) using the old 0-12fm files and the 0-20fm files Chris generated.
Below are figures showing the TPC channel occupancy for the four data sets and the corresponding set of efficiency figures.

The occupancy using the 0-12 fm files (current default) is significantly higher than in the 0-20 fm case.
The corresponding efficiencies are consistently 5-10% lower for the higher occupancy of the 0-12fm events.

Another rather striking result is the very low tracking efficiency once we require 2 mvtx hits on track.
The is probably linked to the poor impact parameter resolutions we are seeing. Ths probably needs some attention soon.

Btw. I am using the current code base and the macro area of a few days ago. This is using the the acts silicon stub finder
but not yet Tony's cluster cleaner.

Cheers

   Christof
