The plot in question is just 100 pion events, so yes this will be much worse in AuAu as you say.

The talk looks good to me.
Slide 15: What kinds of events are these? In Au+Au events with pileup the number of Silicon tracklet associations is considerably above 1. This may very well be unavoidable and turn out to be something we have to sort out downstream.

Hi all,
Tony and I have found that the upsilon resolution has slowly degraded since the MDC to something not great, so I rolled back some of the performance plots (the upsilon mass and pT resolution) to that of the MDC. We are looking into the issue with the upsilon resolution. If you have any additional comments please let me know today, otherwise I will post my slides tomorrow night as the organizers request the slides be posted ~24 hours in advance.

Thanks for the helpful comments, I believe I have implemented them. Please take a look and let me know if there are any additional comments.
One comment is that the current single upsilon mass resolution has degraded to about 100 MeV. I’m not sure if this is because of the ongoing development of the TPC seeder, the TPC cluster issue that Hugo brought up, or something else. But we should probably take a closer look at what is going on there.

Quick impressions:
For slide 16, we can come up with a better fit. A double crystal ball fit would be best. Also, more statistics would be good. I can make one with the default tracking chain, if you like.
I agree with Jin about the plot on slide 15, move the Y axis labels to the center of the bin.

Hi Joe, From a quick look your slides look really nice ! What struck me though: on slide 16, the upsilon inv mass fit is rather poor (in particular there seem to be a flat background component, that does not fit the data at all). I would try to get a better fit ?
