Hi Joe,

This looks great!

So it seems that for commissioning (and after) we will need to start with at least a rough static distortions correction after TPC seeding, so we can do matching to the silicon and TPOT, so we can in turn do average space charge distortion maps, followed by tracking alignment.

Hi all,

I checked how the seeding performs in the presence of the static distortions, and it looks like the tracks get lost in the seed matching + track fitting stage. See the attached plots which shows the efficiency for TPC only seeds (with ntpc>25) and TPC+silicon seeds with and without distortions. This is very encouraging for the streaming data reconstruction and for setting up a commissioning tracking workflow in the coming months.
