Hi ShinIchi,

Thanks for your comment! I uploaded a new version after incorporating other comments I received: https://drupal.star.bnl.gov/STAR/system/files/OOworkshop-weili-02102021v2.pdf. About page 4, my plan is to first lay out what we propose and then explain the rationale later. But I'll go over the talk again today and think about what you suggested.

Cheers,

Wei

Dear Wei
As Prithwish has already approved, your talk is beautiful and
you have my sign-off with one minor comment that I would
have your page.4 (BUR plan) just before your summary, but
of course, it’s up to you.
Best regards, ShinIchi

Hello Wei,
The slides already look good. I sign off with a few minor comments.

Slide#2: Needs a reference.

Slide#4: "Endorsed by BNL PAC" --> we can also emphasize that PAC pointed out this
to be important to the overall RHIC scientific program and also timely ("Although an O+O
run could also be considered in a future year,
these questions are pressing and topical now")

Slide#4 or somewhere: It would be good to say say this is an exploratory run.

Slide#5: This statement about symmetric/asymmetric systems and
sub-nucleonic/nucleonic. Is it made in the context of multiplicity
distributions (high multiplicity events)? Or is it about what drives v2 and
v3? Is this is statement or question? If it's a statement then what is the
evidence.
It would be good to clarify as this is related to STAR-PHENIX debate.

Slide#7: "(caveat: behavior of nonflow to be investigated)" --> "(caveat: behavior
of nonflow needs to be investigated)"

Slide#8 title: Maybe we write "year 2017" instead of <Run17, this was the
detector configuration till year 2017 (we had a small wedge of EPD but still).

Slide#9 title: Maybe we write "year 2019" as EPD started from 2018 and iTPC
from 2019.

Slide#10: Can you please add "PHENIX" in the middle plot.

Slide#11: "At the LHC" can be added on the title or somewhere

Slide#12 & 13: "At the RHIC" can be added on the title or somewhere

Slide#14: "questions of collectivity" --> "questions on collectivity"
"STAR proposed a one-week" --> "STAR proposed an exploratory one-week"

Best,
Prithwish
