Dear Gavin,
Very nice proceedings. I have a few questions and suggestions below for your consideration:
abstract:
s = s_NN =
nuclear structure --> What do you mean by nuclear structure here, I didn't get the context here.
l#10: At the center of non-central --> At the non-central
l#25: rest frame
l#43-44: Along this line, you may mention BES-II allow more precision and differential measurements which were not possible from BES-I.
l#61: some temporary complications of signal extraction --> I think this line is not needed, since it do not explain what is the underlying complication. It seems too technical.
Or may be you can rephrase something like, In future we will extend measurements beyond 1.0 !
l#68: The mixed-event method is used to generate the combinatorial background ....
l#72-73: Have you varied background shape eg poly-3 vs poly-2 for systematics?
l#75: Is the width fixed to PDG or extracted from data for integrated theta* bins?
l#94-95: Do you apply any PID efficiencies?
l#115: The fit presented for the second-order event plane results is s fit only to BES-I
--> may be rephrased as, the solid line is a fit only to BES-I data ...
l#117: The BES-II data at √𝑠NN = 19.6 GeV is consistent with the model fit from BES-I and the details of the fit can be found in [1].
--> I think this line is not necessary and can be removed. A better approach would be to fit when precise data will be available for all BES-II energies.
l#153: to be more specific: ... increasing 𝜌00 with rapidity (|y|>0.5) for both energies ...
l#156: many collision energies --> remaining collision energies
l#157: I'd suggest a rephrase: This work explores the potential link between the 𝜙-meson field and global spin alignment, ....
I sign off with these addressed.
Thanks and regards,
Subhash
