Thanks a lot for the information. We will use the fluid flow from IST to do the simulation later.
As mentioned in the previous email, you are correct, we do need the detailed design of the hybrid. We are using pure Kapton as the hybrid now, and the thermal conductivity is very bad (so the temperature on the chips is high).

Regarding the coolant fluid flow, For IST, it is 1 liter/min at 20 degree C for each pair of staves, and in total 24/2 = 12 liter/min for the entire system. A detailed description can be found at

One thing which may not have taken into account in the thermal simulation is the thermal conductive vias in the hybrid (see Figure 8 of arXiv:1404.0993). Jianing, do you include such vias in the FST hybrid following IST hybrid design, if so, can you please tell Yi their dimensions, locations, and quantities?
