Hi Zhenyu,
3. Can we change the holding frame/box so that the box can be opened and the module be accessed from both sides?
Please find the updated drawing for holding frames shown in here: https://drupal.star.bnl.gov/STAR/blog/hshengli/holding-frame
I have updated the holding frames which can be opened from both sides. Please let me know, if there is any issues.
Best regards,

Last Thursday I had a meeting with Fermilab SiDet engineers and technicians. We went through the FST module design, and module assembly procedure. Below are some questions / action items.
For Yi and Hang-sheng:
1. What is the surface smoothness of the mechanical structure made by the injection-mold method from EASTON?
2. What type of screws are used for fixing the module in the holding frame, M3, M4 or?
3. Can we change the holding frame/box so that the box can be opened and the module be accessed from both sides?
4. Update the CAD file with separated outer sensors? Check the dimensions of the inner and outer sensors to make sure they match with the sensor designs.
For Jiangning and Gerard:
5. Are the two outer sensors electrically isolated on the hybrid?
For Zhenyu
7. What unit does the UIC machine shop work with, mm or inch?
Can you please provide the requested information by this Thursday?
Thanks and Best,
Zhenyu
