hi Zhenyu,
I may not be able to make the meeting, still tbd.
But as to the FST readout commissioning (i.e. IST re-commissioning) we think that is in good shape after last week's efforts:

- Tonko updated various DAQ software parts on the PC (and renamed it ist01->fst01). Also reconnected the RORC's and fibers which had been disconnected for some reason.
- Likewise Tonko prepared the FST TCD.
- I reinstalled the ARC-II and ARM that Prithwish had, and located the other ARC-II that was missing (it was the former GMT one, swapped out during run 19 due to some issues)
- I found Tim's interlock cheater setup in IST rack and that worked fine
- I tested w/ test DAQ software (1 fiber at a time) and it worked
- I made a small firmware change to fix one longstanding issue, and applied this update
- Then Tonko ran full DAQ, mostly results were good but some token errors
- Subsequently I tried test DAQ again, saw the errors, realized I did something wrong in the firmware, resolved that with another new version, and tested again and all seems fine
- Then one ARM and one ARC-II pulled for Prithwish's lab setup again

Note: The ex-GMT ARC-II is now FST RDO #4, we did not see any problems with it, so we just have to watch that one. I'll deal with it in 2021 if that proves to have a problem after all. If so, likely swapping the SIU would fix it.
Sincerely,

Gerard
