Meeting minutes

Module assembly - Zhenyu
Met Fermilab engineers last Thursday. Collecting information to answer their 
questions. 

Module holding frame/box - Yi/Han-Sheng
Yi will discuss with Han-Sheng to make further changes to allow access to 
modules from both sides. 

Inner signal cables - Mike 
Received connectors from SDU yesterday, will send the 6 remaining test-cables 
and connectors out to assembly company for soldering. Also requested quotes 
for alternative production cable yesterday 

IST DAQ - Gerard

BNL test stand - Prithwish
Learnt how to power things up and connect. Will try to understand the mapping 
between hardware and software, and play with the test stand once the DAQ 
software is installed and connect it eventually to IST modules.

Mechanical structure - Yi
Easton is producing 18 sets of mechanical structures, expect to finish before 
middle Oct. 
AIDC is making 16 sets of cooling tubes, expect 10 before the end of 
September with leakage tests
External company is assembling 8 sets of hybrids with connectors and passive 
components, expect to finish middle Oct 
Writing document, expect to finish middle Oct. 
Decided on cooling tube connector types, and soft tubes. Will discuss next 
week. 

Simulation - Te-Chuan
Added cooling tubes and coolant to STAR GEANT model. Has checked that there 
is no over-loop between the volumes. Will work on change water to Novec for 
the coolant, and add the cooling blocks
