- Subject: [Star-fst-l] FST disk positioning
- Date: Mon, 13 Apr 2020 15:27:06 -0400
I like to follow up briefly on the possible disk position. I already posted
comments several days ago. Just to iterate a couple of points
- the nominal geometry in simulation and due to coverage is 140 154 168
(rougly 15 cm between disks)
The 140 corresponds to 55.1” much less than Rahu nominal 60.8”. I a
response to my comments he said the 60” is a reasonable lower limits.
Rahual, please confirm using the model what the lowest value is
- The upperlimit shown in the schetch is 60+2*9.25 ~ 200 cm so this ought to
be plenty for the sim checks.
- It woud probably be plenty for the sim tests, but would certinaly cut into
the accpetance.
