Hi Zhenyu,

Unfortunately, I am not sure if I will have additional people power to design the new box now since all of them are working on the assembly day and night at NTU. We did have extra material to make two identical boxes as before, so my plan is to ask undergrads to put them together. The easiest ESD friendly material of the top of my head is the anodized aluminum, but I am not sure how fast we can get them done here even we use the same design with longer length. I will check it today.

I believe the agreement is that NCKU only makes the storage boxes for the prototype and UIC will be in change of all the boxes for production.
Since you are not very satisfied with our design for holding the module in the box (some interference between the holding bar and T-Board?), so I think one of the probabilities is that your engineer can start to design and to make the new box for production. Then you can switch to the new ones when you received the new prototypes since it doesn't need to be ESD safe when we ship to you.

Let me know that you think.

Cheers,
Yi

Hi Yi,

I assume the new FST modules, when they are sent to me in June, will be put in storage boxes, similar to the ones you made before. As discussed previously, can you please

1. Use ESD friendly materials.

2. increase the length of the box to have additional space between the outer radius edge of the module and the end plate of the storage box?

Thanks,
Zhenyu
