Hi Gerard,
Yes, this glue is "kind of viscous stuff". The reason we chose this is because the detector configuration is different from IST and the resources are limited in Taiwan. So we decided to use the similar approach (procedure, glue) which is used at CMS HGCal and sPHENIX INTT production.
