Hmm. Now I am worried about that last statement ("pulls the T board out...") more than about the capacitors. Can you make some sketches or more pictures? I guess it's hard to get good pictures about this.

hi Zhenyu,
If these two capacitors were flipped to the othe side of the T-board,
does it seem like that would resolve the problem?

Yes. Another option would be to shorten the pigtail of the outer hybrid. If I
don’t plug the connector in, the capacitors can fit in a free space of the
mechanical structure with the T-board screwed down onto the holes in the
mechanical structure. Only when I plug the T-board connector into the outer
hybrid connector, which pulls the T-board out a little bit from the
abovementioned position, the capacitor interferes with the mechanical
structure.

I believe that should be feasible. Are there any other mechanical constraints
from that side?

The picture I took today. After I plugged the connector of the T-board into
the connector on the outer hybrid, one of the two capacitors on the bottom
side of the T-board will interfere with the mechanical structure, so that in
the picture the T-board has a tilted angle.

Hi all,

It would be great if it can be fixed on T-board.
Slightly modifying the MS is also possible. I will check with Han-Sheng today.

Cheers,

is the fix on the t-Board or on the mechanics?

Hi Zhenyu,

Yes, we were a bit concerned about this as Han-Sheng mentioned a
couple weeks ago that the distance tolerance between the capacitors
and T-board is very small.
We tried to use the T-Board+Cable from Mike to do this test before,
but that one doesn't have connectors mounted.
So we just roughly checked it and I think your conclusion is correct.
This can be fixed relatively easy, I believe...

Yi

Hi Yi,

I forgot to tell you that I noticed some kind of conflict of the
capacitors on the T-board (outer side) with the mechanical structure
when I was trying to plug the T-board into FST04.

Have you done the check yourself? DO you reach the same conclusion?

I’ve dropped off the package outside the 510 stockroom. It may

I’ll follow up once I have a carrier tracking number.

Hey Flemming and all,

I'm creating the shipping memo now in hopes they'll review it soon
so it can go out Wednesday morning.

Flemming, can you double check this address formatting? It doesn't
change for foreign countries, I'm guessing you're supposed to leave
"State" blank?

Thanks,

Mike

Hi Mike,

Next Tuesday would be perfectly fine. If it is not too much a
trouble to arrange the shipment, can you please find out from
Lijuan/Jamie whether they approve it? The shipping address for Yi
(cc’ed) can be found below.

Thanks and Best,

Hey Zhenyu,

It shouldn't be an issue from my end, as long as I get approval
from Lijuan Ruan and Jamie Dunlop. How soon does Yi need this? If
it's not urgent, I have to go in Tuesday to swap gas bottles, which
they've been approving. I could ask them to approve this at the same
time, or earlier if needed.

Flemming,

Do you know if shipping and receiving is still doing package
pickups from 510? I know they are dropping packages off to the stock
room. I'm not sure what the procedure is for outgoing packages at
this time.

How easy/difficult would it be to send one V3.0 T-Board/Purple
