I won't be able to make it to the meeting tomorrow. 

Update on status of the existing test-stand cables: I've received two 
cable/T-Board assemblies from Zhenyu, but haven't modified them (re-pinned 
the bias pins) yet.


Production run of new cables: 
        - I have in-hand parts to make 50 cable assemblies, as well as the 
purple cable itself.
        - I haven't gotten a quote for the production run cable assembly and 
soldering to T-boards. I can ask our vendor to work on a quote if you guys 
give me a timeframe when we'll have them in hand, when we need them returned 
by, and how many we want to have made. 
        - We can split the job as well - have our vendor install the D-Sub 
connectors and prep the cable to be soldered to the T-board, and have the 
soldering to the T-Boards done in China, if that's a preferred option. You 
guys may have better labor rates, if cost becomes a concern.

T-Board Testing: 
        - I drew up a schematic for a little Arduino based cable tester, 
attached. It'll cost ~$2,200 to have the boards assembled on a 10 day turn.
        - Haven't heard back from Gerard on this. Not sure it's worth the 
cost over visual inspection  or point to point testing
                - It'll drive each pin of the d-sub and scan through all the 
pins of the Nicomatic connector, check for opens and shorts. 
                - I2C interface to read in temp sensor value, make sure it's 
within some reasonable range of room temperature.
