Hi Yi
I think the drawing "say for tube ø6" not 6.5. The 1/4" current tube is 6.35

Hi Yi,
There is another question on the soft cooling tube (Rahul’s
presentation slide 14):
In the drawing on the top-left corner, the (recommended) diameter for
the tube is 6.5mm. Rahul could not find Tygon 3370 with the exact
diameter from US suppliers. Is there a supplier from Taiwan that
provides it?
Best,
Zhenyu

Hi Zhenyu,
Sorry for the delayed reply. I got way too many unread emails in my box and I finally got a chance to reply to them.
Yes, you are correct, the design of the connector was suggested by the vendor (see first attached file). They just suggested using a simple hose clamp to fix the tube (second attached picture).
Cheers,
Yi

Hi Yi,
We are wondering how to reliably attach soft flex tube with the stainless steel cooling tube embedded in the detector module. I recall we discussed it in a meeting a couple of months ago. Rahul commented that the kind of the connector end of the stainless steel cooling tube is not typical, and you said the connector design was recommended by the vendor (correct me if I remember it incorrectly).
Does the vendor have a recommendation on how to attach flex tube? Can you please ask them? If they have a specific recommended clamp/method to do, it will be helpful.
Best
Zhenyu
