Hey everyone,
Just a quick status update regarding Patch Panel Assemblies.
I’ve tested two full patch panel assemblies and found no issues. I’ve left them in the iTPC test lab for now – if needed they’re free to be used for the test stand in the clean room.
The third patch panel assembly, “PPB Assembly 4” is the unit we scavenged boards off of to send out for the various test stands. I’ve repaired two PPBs I had that were not working, as noted and installed them on this unit. I plan to grab two more PPBs from the closet at the STAR hall tomorrow, to be tested/repaired and installed to make 3 complete assemblies.
Gerard, Please have a look at the values – the only one that sticks out to me is PPB Assembly 4 board 3, which has a positive output of 1.268V – I’m not sure what the nominal output (1.25V?) and tolerance is, so please let me know if this needs any further investigation. The rest all look to be within the same range, but I’d appreciate a second set of eyes.
Test data is attached so far.
The test being carried out is supplying an input +/-1.70VDC in, and measuring output with a 1.5R load on each positive and negative rails.
Thanks,
Mike Capotosto |
