Hopefully it is something external.

Nothing was touched on any FST cable or support connections between when it was noisy and when it was not? That would be comforting to hear.

I think it may be too soon to rule out an intermittently bad connection in the FST.

Will it be possible to take regularly some biased/dark runs over next few days to watch for changes? That would be optimal I think.

Thanks for asking. I am about to send the email.

As you said, the noise just went away before we did anything.

The good thing is the detector is working properly but we don't know why it is gone.

It turns out both the module and purple cable are good and there seems to be an unknown source of noise around yesterday.

We postponed the detector pulling and are trying to identify the possible noise source, but no luck so far.

If we could find the noise source, we will try to decouple it from our FST.
