Hi Sonia,

I have a few last minor comments and sign off.

Intro:
- hadron production in ultrarelativistic heavy ion collisions are key -> hadron production in ultrarelativistic heavy ion collisions is key
- "A +A interactions" - keep "A+A" in one line
Evidence of mass ordering
- I would add a bullet: "Results are consistent with models including mass-dependent energy loss mechanisms"  before "Evidence"
- In order to get more space for it you can reduce the font size of the R_AA definition and/or swap this box with a smaller one, e.g. the directed flow.
- You can also remove " in Au +Au Collisions" from the title, as you don't have it in other titles,
- Evidence for mass ordering of RAA of b -> e and c -> e is observed -> Evidence of mass ordering of RAA of b -> e and c -> e in Au+Au collisions at 200 GeV is observed
Flow
- "indicating strong indicating strong" - remove one "indicating strong"
Directed flow
- Remove periods at the end of sentences, to be consistent with other places. Or put them everywhere.
- EM field and -> EM field, and
Outlook
- as well as for open heavy flavor -> as well as for open heavy flavor hadron measurements

Cheers,
Barbara

Hi Sonia,

Thanks a lot for the updated version. I have two minor comments for your consideration.
  - v2 --> v_2
  - It is a bit difficult to follow your poster (as least for me) since there are no clear boundaries between different results. I would suggest adding frames around each physics topic. But it is just a taste of style, so it is completely up to you.

Cheers,
Yi

Hi Sonia,

thanks for the updated poster. It looks much clearer now.
Please see my suggestions below.

- You still have a bit of space - you can try to increase the size of the plots
- At the bottom leave larger margin, and you can also add: The STAR Collaboration https://drupal.star.bnl.gov/ST AR/presentations
- Your last motivation bullet is about v2, I would suggest removing the p+p spectrum and instead show the HFE v2 results that we have at 200, 54.4 and 27 GeV.

Introduction:
- Increase the font size of the bullet points
- Charm and Beauty (Heavy Flavour, HF) hadron production -> Charm and beauty (heavy flavour, HF) hadron production
- Charm and beauty are produced -> charm and beauty quarks are produced
- Flow of open charm  -> Flow of open heavy flavor hadrons

Evidence of mass ordering
- Remove "at RHIC" from the title (you have in your poster title that the results are from STAR at RHIC)
- scaled by number of collisions -> scaled by number of binary collisions
- "Both models" ... lines are shifted to the right w.r.t. the first line
- I would add a conclusion bullet: "Data consistent with the model predictions"
- Last bullet: the measurement was done in 2-8.5 GeV/c range, but I would remove "in the pT region 3 to 8 GeV"

First measurement of directed flow
- Enlarge the text of the bullet points
- The results are compared with a hydrodynamic -> The results can be qualitatively explained by a hydrodynamic
- initially tilted QGP source and -> initially tilted QGP source and EM field, and

First Lambda_C ...
- remove from the title "with STAR at RHIC using the HFT" -  you can instead add that the open heavy flavor hadrons are reconstructed with HFT, in a place where you show the STAR detector
- that assume coalesce hadronization -> that include coalescence hadronization

Charmed hadrons ...
- remove from the title "with STAR at RHIC with the HFT"
- D^+/- should be in one line, and you can remove "preliminary"
- consistent to each other -> consistent with each other
- in central Au+Au collisions (0-10%) -> in central (0-10%) Au+Au collisions

Total charm per binary NN collisions from charmed hadrons -> Total charm cross section

Cheers,
Barbara

Hi Sonia,

Thanks a lot for the slides and posters. Please find my comments/suggestions on the poster.
 - General:
   - I think the words and plots are too small.
   - You probably can put a "box" for each section.
   - You should add the DOE logo and a sentence of "Supported in part by" above the logo
   - There are page numbers around the corner of each section, I would remove them.
   - Many subscripts and superscripts are incorrect, for example D_0 --> D^0 (don't show "^"), D+- --> D^{+-}, R(AA) --> R_AA, and the arrow should be "-->".
 - Introduction:
    - Title: I. Introduction --> Introduction
    - Charm and beauty --> Charm and beauty (Heavy Flavor, HF)

 - Evidence of Mass Ordering:
    - remove "Evidence of Mass Ordering ..." in the content, only keep the arXiv number

 - First measurement of directed flow ... :
    - Title: remove "IV"
    - AMPT model --> AMPT model.  (missed a period)

 - Conclusions and Outlook (first one):
     - Title: Conclusions (remove "VI")
     - I actually would move this part since it is just repeating the exact items shown before.

 - Conclusions and Outlook (second one):
     - Title: Outlook  (remove "VI")
     - I would make this part a bit large.
     - a will extend --> Future data will extend

Cheers,
Yi

Hi Sonia,
   Thanks for the updated version.

I see you dont have subscripts and superscripts properly formatted on the slides. Please fix.
You have numbers for some sections and not for others, please make uniform.
For slide 9, you can remove reference to QM 2022 and speaker, as these are STAR results.
slide 7, I dont think we claim they are consistent in the paper, rather they reproduce the order of magnitude large v1 for D mesons
slide 6, please specify pT range in the bullet
Conclusions: tagged jets; R_AA ..
Some parts of the text are missing on the last slide with the future projections

thanks
Sooraj

Hi Sonia,

thanks for nice slides.
My general comment on the poster is to reduce the amount of material that you currently have. Otherwise, it will be very hard for people to go through the plots and text.
Then it is up to you to choose what you want to show.
If you want to show an overview of the open HF results, I would suggest:
-  remove s2 and s4
-  show 1 plot from each topic you want to include and have not more than 2/3 bullets of conclusions out of it
- I would remove the technical plots, which are nice but I guess you want to show more physics results: so, e.g. s. 6.7,8 and the mass plots
- remove one of Lambda_C results, you can instead add D_s/D0 ratio that was published more recently and from both Lambda_C and D_s/D0 ratios you can make conclusions regarding the coalescence
- pT -> p_T
- also, the orange titles are very hard to read on the blue background.

Best regards,
Barbara
